"Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

John 15:13 NIV

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:16 NASB

This page is about you - personally. I don't know you or what you need, but there is someone who knows you intimately - Jesus. And not only does He know you better than you know yourself, He loves you anyway. There is nothing you can say, do, or think that will make Him stop loving you. And there is nothing you have ever said, done or thought that makes it impossible for you to turn to Him.

You can date all the people in the world, and maybe even find that special someone - but until you know Jesus, intimately and personally, there will always be a void in your life that no person, be it a family member, spouse, or child, will

ever be able to fill.

You were created by the same God who put the stars in the heavens and formed the tiniest insects. He wants to be part of your life, and designed you with that in mind. Your mind, spirit and soul know that this is the way it's supposed to be, and they feel His absence in your heart. That's why you'll never be satisfied until you invite Him in.

Why isn't He there already? Why, if you were created to be with Him, do you feel so empty? Because God is perfect, and He can't live in a sinful heart. When we do the wrong thing, even though we know better, we separate ourselves from God. The Bible says that "there is none righteous, no, not one" and that "all have fallen short of the glory of God." That's the bad news.

The good news is that God sent His son Jesus into the world to pay the price for our sins. Jesus was perfect - in all His time here on earth, He never sinned, even though He was repeatedly tempted by Satan. Because He didn't owe His life for His own sin (since He didn't have any), He was able to pay our price for us. That's why His death on the cross means so much to you and I - it's our way back to God. All you have to do is tell Jesus that you recognize that you are a sinner, and that you need His help turn from it. Believe that He paid your price and ask Him into your heart, and you will never be alone again. You will not only have Jesus in your heart for the rest of your life, but you will also live forever as a son or daughter of God, in His presence. He says that there will be no more tears or suffering, and no remembrance of things past. What an awesome thing to look forward to!

If you are ready to let Jesus change your life and want to invite Him into your heart, just pray this prayer and mean it in your heart:

Dear Lord Jesus: I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I accept and receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for now saving me. Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, welcome! You are now a child of God, and you are going to live forever with Him in heaven. You can be sure that this is true, because God promised it. If you would like to know more, or if you didn't pray but would like to know more, here are a couple of resources that might be helpful. God bless you!
