CADD-- AutoCAD - Our Primary Drafting System Even though our primary CAD (Computer-Aided Drafting) Software is AutoCAD (by AutoDesk), we have employees and associates with experience in many other CAD systems. We also have creative capabilities to convert to other systems without losing text and other layer information. Plotter - Our CAD drafting stations are linked through a network to an Encad-Cadjet 2/Inkjet type plotter capable of plotting color and/or black and white drawings ranging in size of up to 36" wide roll feed paper. Scan & Convert - We can scan old drawings and convert them to CAD drawings for a permanent computer record or to be used for new project. Design - Our experience in power systems includes projects ranging from high voltage power distribution, substations, switch gear meter control centers, generators, power supplies, both AC & DC.
Facilities Maintenance - We have worked extensively in both Industrial and Commercial facilities to add, upgrade and trouble-shoot electrical systems. this includes power monitoring to study electrical demands, sags, surges, and power factor which can be used to lower your electric bills. We can represent your company's interests in working with your utility provider to solve problems.
Instrumentation - We can incorporate instrumentation to existing facilities to report on power usage and/or production parameters. This includes visual, real-time displays or print-outs. Also, controls for temperature and rates are many times available with instrumentation.
Automation Control - One of our most experienced areas of the engineering field is Automation Control. We basically try to accomplish what the customer needs with regard to automation. Sometimes this includes an upgrade to newer technologies available. For example, replacing old relay-controls with solid state programmable controllers. Also, we have experience in looking at "the whole picture" of a process or practice and provide recommendations for respectable automation to assist employee-operations. For example, fixture to assist in material handling, or computer systems to reduce the employees' time consuming activity of filing out paper-work forms and reports for both material tracking and quality recording.
Architects - We and our regular partnering associates have many years of experience in all types of architectural projects, including public buildings, restaurants, cafeterias, medical buildings, condominiums, apartments, etc.
Civil - Civil engineering involves the design and construction of water systems, waste disposal systems, dams, bridges, transportation systems, etc. We have completed several civil engineered projects, and we have many years of combined experience between all of our associates.
Drafting - Technical drawing is needed to convey ideas in all aspects of industry. Our employees have experience in board (hand) drafting as well as Computer Aided Design Drafting. Drafting standards are closely adhered to.
HVAC - (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) Our engineers provide design, investigation, testing, adjusting, and balancing of air systems for industrial and commercial buildings. This includes air distribution, piping systems, digital controls, operations, and maintenance.
Permits - We have experience in preparing for and obtaining permits for public and commercial buildings. Also, EPA permits to install (PTI) and permits to operate (PTO).
Plant Layout - This usually involves either updating or creating a plant layout CAD drawing to show the equipment locations, department square foot areas, and production flow. Sometimes this includes a numbering system for equipment or devices (such as pumps and valves...) used in each department. An equipment tagging plan and maintenance spare parts numbering system can then be incorporated.
Process Planning - This usually involves advanced planning for material flow and production floor planning. Sometimes it involves field measurements and creating floor plan CAD drawings for existing processes.
Technical Writing - We are required to utilize technical writing in all aspects of our project work. Technical writing includes critical thinking, logic, inductive and deductive reasoning. It is the literature of science, technology and systems development. Technical writers are traditionally thought of as "engineering writers." Technical writing is involved in our service provided to customers for: (1) Structured Job Training Manuals, (2) Project Reports, (3) Surveys of a facility with regard to code compliance and/or safety, (4) Due-diligence Inspections, or (5) Process Instructions, (6) Capital Appropriation Requests, etc...
