Ragdolls are beautiful large cats that fall limp in your arms when you hold them, which is where the name Ragdoll came from. Ragdolls have dense and silky hair that's usually several inches long. They're most often colorpointed in seal (dark brown) or blue (bluish gray). However, you may be able to find chocolate (milk chocolate) and lilac (pinkish gray) Ragdolls. Mitted Ragdolls are colorpointed with white chins, mittens, and boots (front and back paws). These cats are harder to find than regular colorpointed Ragdolls. A bicolor Ragdoll is a colorpoint with white legs and a white blaze on its face.
All Ragdolls have deep blue eyes. Ragdolls are heavy cats; males can weigh up to 20 pounds. Their legs are thick and their paws are heavy and tufted. Their long noses and large oval eyes make them look different than Himalayans or Persians. Their ears are medium in size and are rounded and their tail is very long and fluffy.
