With my roots in country music, I have performed with a number of groups in the central Ohio area over the years. Being able to perform in opening acts for such entertainers as Hank Williams Jr, Lee Greenwood, Billy Joe Royal, Jhonny Paycheck, T Graham Brown and many more, I learned so much from these performers and thier music.




During this time, I developed my own style of playing the pedal steel that is still with me to this day. I learned so much from a great instructor,JEFF NEWMAN, who is known as the father of instructors on pedal steel,,god bless him. Although Jeff is not with us today, I am so lucky to have known him and will be forever gratefull for his priceless instructions on this instrument.




I have spent many hours in the studio over the years but my first love is performing live on stage doing what I love most, playing pedal steel behind a great country entertainer.




I play steel with a great country/country rock band,"FREEDOM HIGHWAY" A great bunch of guys who can crank out some serious COUNTRY!! These guys can bring the house down!



Also, I get a call from time to time form one of the finest singers around, "Dave Parsons" This guy can bring a tear to a glass eye when he sings an old ballad. This guy is a dead ringer when it comes to Vince Gill,,,is it Vince or Dave ?? Who cares, he sounds fantastic!!



The "Last Call Band" is a group I perform with out of the Circleville ,OH area. What a great bunch of guys ! Old friends & great musicians,, dont miss these guys when they are in your neck of the woods !



I also play steel with "Slim White & The Averys" on the, "RANCH PARTY ROUND UP SHOW", in the central Ohio area. If you like classic country songs, you will love the AVERYS ! They are one of the most sought after country groups in central Ohio. They look good, sound good & they have a following of loyal fans at every show they perform,, they pack the house !
