Internet Explorer TCP/IP Stack and Dialer

Internet Explorer v4.x is commonly distributed with the Internet Explorer, IE, (a web-browser), Outlook Express (an email/news reader) and the Connection Wizard (the TCP/IP protocol stack and dialer, the software which manages the telephone aspect of an Internet connection).

The following write-up describes how to install and configure the Connection Wizard in order to connect to Green Apple. Configuration information is also given for Outlook Express on how to use it for email and news.

The write-up assumes that IE v5.x has been installed correctly and that this is a first time setup. If you are upgrading from a previously installed copy of IE, IE v4.x will use much of the imported information during the setup process.
