I started researching my family's history about 20 years ago starting with my mother's family. I guess my mother's interest in recording the names and dates of the family rubbed off on me and I soon began to research our history. Mom and I have spent hours in courthouses, libraries, cemeteries, meeting and corresponding with relatives. As John G. Stevens once said, "A family's history is a common bond between all members and connections of that family, in the past, in the present and for generations to come."
